TabTrade — What It Is
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail tells you something. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.
Platforms
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That will round things out when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the area where this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.
Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Now, the part that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It should be part of your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it depends on you.
The Bonus
TabTrade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You deposit, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
